Teff: An Ancient East African Cereal Grass.

Teff: Whole Grain Teff is an ancient East African cereal grass. (It takes about 100 seeds to equal the size of a kernel of wheat!) it is the tiniest grain in the world, but it’s packed with nutrients. You can stay full with 7g of protein per serving along with fiber, iron, calcium, zinc, magnesium, and vitamin B6.

For thousands of years, Ethiopians have been consuming this untamed nutty flavored grain! Use it for vegan burgers, stews, pilafs, porridges, breads and other baked goods. Teff can be ground into a flour and used to make injera, a traditional Ethiopian bread.
